High performance in a tough environment
The car service chain, Kwik-Fit, has 667 centres in Britain and are experts in automotive parts replacement and repair including tyres, exhaust systems and brakes, Mot testing, car servicing, air con recharge and windscreen repair. Since the first Kwik-Fit centre was opened in Edinburgh in 1971, Kwik-Fit has rapidly expanded in Britain. In 1973 the first Kwik-Fit centre was opened in Holland and principally by acquisition now operates 570 service centres on the continent.
Initially, MultiQ was only represented at the company with a small number of screens of the older model MQ156POS. As the system became increasingly used, the number of positive viewpoints about the MultiQ solution grew.
After a long evaluation process, MultiQ started to deliver 15" touch screens to Kwik-Fit in 2006, now of the new product model – MQ215. So far, MultiQ has delivered approximately 1000 screens to Kwik-Fit centres all over Britain.
