          – Occasional frame buffer jumps between video clips, this is visible as a one frame distortion of the video.
          – Playing a 1080p video over long time may cause instability. Workaround is to once a day/night restart the device.
Playing video in the resolution 1360x768 will make the media player reboot. Workaround: Use the resolution 1366x768 instead.
Playing videos in a rotated/portrait mode has lower performance compared to landscape. When using portrait mode without rotating the video, limit resolution and video area to SDTV or lower resolution. For full frame rate with high resolution, rotate video media in advance and play in landscape mode.
Text can be selected in the web browser. Workaround is to apply CSS-style –“moz-user-select: none” on the body tag.
Ticker in portrait mode has slightly degraded performance.
Media log is not included in standalone mode in the current version.
Store, group, media group, display order model and unit validation functionality are not included or applicable for standalone mode.
When using a 12” media monitor the virtual keyboard is too large. The keyboard is therefore automatically hidden on 12” screens.
      • Rescue/factory default procedure
        • Important!
The rescue/factory default procedure described below is only intended for units that are in stand-alone mode (i.e. not connected to a central system) and on occasions when the device can not be upgraded or reset using the web user interface.
All data on the MultiQ device will be erased and the device will be reset to factory default for the by the USB stick included firmware version.
It is important to power off the MultiQ device before inserting the USB upgrade stick. If you insert the SB stick after the device is running the device will erase the USB stick and use it as extended storage.
The USB storage device must be at least 1GB. We have noted that some older USB storage devices do not boot correctly so we recommend using Verbatime Store N Go memory.
          Instructions
          1. Download the latest rescueusb_MP4-7_"version".exe.
2.Remove all USB storage devices from your PC.
          3. Insert a USB stick to your computer. Important – Please note that all data on the memory stick will be erased.
4.Double click on the downloaded exe file. This will start self extraction and after a while the installer program will start.
5.Select your USB storage device and press OK.
6.When installation is complete click the Exit button and remove the USB storage device from your computer.
7.Disconnect power from your MultiQ media player/media monitor and insert the USB memory stick.
8.Connect USB keyboard to media player/media monitor.
9.Connect media player/media monitor to power.
10.The media player/Media monitor will now reboot and auto install the new software. Wait until installation is completed and follow instructions on screen.

          MultiQ DSMS API version:
          Server API Version 3.0.0
          Client API Version 1.2.0
          New functions
Avahi(Bonjour) is included. But the mediaplayer doesn't present it self yet.
It is now possible to change the idlespot for a unit and a unit template.
A unit can now also download its content over HTTP.
A unit can inherit settings and media from a unittemplate. If a user change anything in the unittemplate then all the units that is inheriting will have these changes copied to them.
New setting under unit: Persistent profile. Checking this means that the mediaplayer saves the browser profile so that after a reboot all cookies etc. are still available.
The Server-API now has it own version handling. All available version will be located in its own folder. Example: account/multiq/3.0.0/ or account/multiq/3.2.0/ . Because of this we have changed the version to 3.0.0. All developers need to update the webreference for the API. But in the future this only needs to be done if the developers wants to use functions of a newer API.
          Improvements
Increased stability for playing video and sound
After change layout on a Stand Alone unit the correct page is displayed
Possible to change name on a channel
Units and sites are no longer listed if there is more than 100 of either in the system. Instead the user need to search for the desired unit or site. However it is still possible to list all of either
A unit now lists under browser extension all the local storage and tarballs that it inherits from its site
When clicking on a channel or a playlist the content is displayed on the same page, just below the listing of either channels or playlists
Opening hours and download slots configuration is moved from unit template to Site settings
          Known limitations
          Stand alone mode limitations
          – Ticker, Media log are not included in current version.
          – Store, group, media group, display order model and unit validation functionality are not included or applicable for stand alone mode.
